Pia Dierickx winning pictures

Pia Dierickx: The winning images, categories and portfolio from the 2016 Nature’s Best Photography Africa Competition have been announced and she is among this year’s winning photographers. She has been chosen “AFRICAN WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR”, Overall Winner with her portfolio.

Her picture “Lioness Crocodile Fight” was awarded as Overall Winner in the Category “Reptiles.”
“Hungry Cheetah” won First Runner up in the category Wild Cats Behavioral.
“Marabou having his meal” received Honors, for the category Birds Behavioral.
For the category Bird Portraits her pictures “Secretary birds before bedtime” and “Black headed Weaver” got Honors.

You can see the images that feature in the 2016 Catalogue and appear at the exhibition and in Cape Town.

Rachael Talibart: She gave a talk on the Outdoor Photography Magazine’s stage at Patchings Festival. The talk was called Tides and Tempests and it was about photography on the British coast.
