I’m Freya, a 20 year old photographer in my 3rd year of a zoology degree at St Andrews university.
Being brought up in the Scottish countryside, my passion about all things wild began from a very young age. Nature photography has helped that interest grow by teaching me to look closer at the natural world, to the point where I decided to study zoology at university. I use photography as a tool to share my love of wildlife in a world where people are increasingly disconnected from nature, hopefully to show how precious natural ecosystems are.
I’m not one for sitting in hides, and prefer to seek my subjects by going on walks, taking photos of anything that catches my eye, be it a deer crossing my path or a toadstool amongst the moss.
